Our 2022 – 2026 Strategic Plan
Throughout our nearly 30 years of combined history, Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice is proud to provide exceptional palliative care for adults with a life-limiting illness, supporting them and their family through the end-of-life journey and into bereavement.
Though the care we’ve provided has been consistently outstanding, the nature of the community we serve has changed. The Region of Waterloo has developed dramatically around us, our healthcare system has readjusted, and the demographics of our communities have transformed. And while these changes can present unique challenges, they also offer incredible opportunities for us to continue to evolve the excellent care we are known for.
In the face of this change and complexity, Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice remains grounded in the legacy Sheila and Val O’Donovan envisioned. This provides us a solid foundation as we look to respond to both individual and community needs, now and into the future. Over the past year, we’ve had meaningful conversations with community and health system partners, our donors and sponsors, and our staff and volunteers – all to help confirm what individuals at end-of-life and their families need and expect from us.
We remain committed to advancing and strengthening high-quality hospice and palliative care within our community, and to Making Moments Matter for our residents and their families by providing them exceptional care and attention.
And we don’t just have a plan – we have our plan.
A plan that will guide our priorities and our work over the next five years. A plan that’s forward-focused while honouring our roots. A plan that’s innovative and bold to help ensure we achieve our renewed vision.
